2026 marks my 28th year teaching private piano lessons. My approach is always to make learning fun and focus on what inspires each student. I teach all ages, levels, and styles, including jazz and blues, classical, popular, ragtime, boogie-woogie, improvisation, composition, and vocal accompaniment. Lessons are offered at my home studio in Sausalito, CA, or via FaceTime.
MUSICAL BACKGROUND
Daughter of the wonderful pianist Professor David E. Bourne, I grew up in Hollywood learning many different styles of music. In my twenties, I began teaching and performing. I moved to Sausalito three years ago and am loving my new Bay Area home.

Virtual Lessons

Adult Lessons
I work with adults of all ages, from complete beginners to continuing students. My oldest student so far is 82! It's never too late to have fun learning piano.
